How you found out about Blogger and why you made one
I love writing. It doesn't hurt that every now and then (explains why there are gaps between my Blog Challenge posts..lol), I find it the best release (for all those pent-up emotions). It's where I get to challenge and hone the writing skills I acquired from my parents (both were writers during their prime). To be honest, I'm quite the poser so I take pride in seeing (and cringing) whatever progress I've made where grammar, vocabulary and plain old wisdom are concerned.
Being part of a generation that can't live without the internet, I've known about Blogger's existence for years. It took me quite a long while though before I thought of permanently parking my thoughts here. I started blogging with Friendster, continued to Multiply and tried Facebook. I found all those too limiting for my taste. Friendster died a natural death and Multiply is now in a coma. Facebook, on the other hand, is like a colored broadsheet with its blogs as limited as the paid advertisements it presented. I have always wanted a glossy magazine - strict but artistic, formal but colorful - and Blogger presented me with all these opportunities to nurse my [ego] without sounding too trashy. :p
